i've heard about spammers doing this - using blogs for their insidious advertising - but i never thought it'd happen to my dear old blog.

I'm miffed. Obviously my blog is unworthy of comment spam!
The amazing thing is someone must actually respond to this stuff or they wouldn't bother doing it.
